The video tells a story of two young kids struggling in their own way to carry on while portraying the bully's own journey as sympathetically as the victim's.  They both seek compassion and yearn to understand why people act as they do.  "The Struggle to Forgive" does not offer any answers, it's simply my outcry from witnessing so much maliciousness and corruption in the world.  The song and video are about wishing for the courage to resist being pulled in to the game, and the strength to triumph over it with grace, understanding and love.

Dana-Marie just returned from Whitehorse, Yukon Territory where she attended the Western Canadian Music Awards and the Breakout West Festival.  It was an amazing weekend hanging with the best musicians in Western Canada, learning about the biz at seminars, networking, singing a tune at the Jarvis Street Saloon, and mingling with the locals of the North.  Dana-Marie will definitely be back to the Yukon!
